Chiropractic is a registered primary health care profession. Chiropractors are trained to diagnose, treat, manage and prevent disorders of the musculoskeletal system (bones, joints and muscles) with a special interest in neck and back pain.
Chiropractors are trained in using manipulation to free stiff or restricted joints. Treatment may also include massage, stretching, medical acupuncture, therapeutic and rehabilitative exercise. Chiropractors at Montague Chiropractic Clinic will also support you to improve posture and ergonomics around your daily activities.
Chiropractors have a University degree and have to be registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) in London. They often use the title Doctor of Chiropractic. The title “chiropractor” is protected by law, making it a criminal offence for anyone calling themselves a chiropractor without being registered with the GCC.
